Lin Liu joined the company in May 2007. Prior to working for Brands Development, Lin had been working for the Chinese Government in the Foreign Direct Investment consultancy sector for many years working in Shanghai and Hong Kong. Her responsibilities were to advise many well-known multinational companies' China-related investment business in different industrial sectors. Lin also has experience in business development management for national companies in China.

Pursuing a Masters degree in Business Administration brought Lin to Scotland where she settled in Aberdeen after completion of her study at The Robert Gordon University. Lin also holds a BA in English Literature and Linguistics from Zhejiang University, China.

Lin travels extensively in her line of business, a factor of her job that she thoroughly enjoys.
